Random tidbits to get the week started.

simple fly fishing gear -

Another week is here and this one is a big one. It’s time for some changes. It’s time to shake things up and make things happen. I’ve always said I’d quit things when they no longer make me happy, and now I have to follow through on that once again. Careers will kill you if let them; but I’m not ready to go just yet.

On the fly tying front, I’m digging some pheasant tail lately. It was really a material I never used much but now I’m using it quite a bit. It’s good for tails, but damn if it doesn’t work pretty decent for a body as well. I’m also back to custom mixing my own dubbing.Mixing my own dubbing is actually pretty damn fun. It’s interesting what you can come up with with some yarn, hairs and a coffee grinder. I’m playing with some new materials so maybe look for a few posts coming up on that soon.

Speaking of posts, I’ve been slacking here lately, but I’m working on it. Too much shit going on and too little time to get it all done. I really want to get a few more QA Session posts done, and I’ve got some Spotlight posts that I’m trying to get finished up. Keep an eye out for some new stuff shortly, seriously.

Thanks for reading. Let’s go crush another week!
