Random tidbits to get the week started.

It's time to fly fish with nymph patterns

I’m ready to get after for another week. Last week was another crazy week of work projects and absolute bullshit in the political landscape. I’m not sure how much longer this country can keep going on it’s current trajectory. This blog is not the place for that, so I’ll leave that there.

Fall is certainly in the air, and the temps in these parts are getting right. Stream temps are in the upper 50’s right now and we’ve had very little rain in the last two weeks. We’re still in the upper 80’s during the day but it feels like that is about to change.

I’ve been digging some good music lately and I’ve recently found several new bands that I’ve put into heavy rotation. If you’re a Spotify user, check out my For The Hills – Vol. 1 playlist. It features some good tunes for fly tying or heading to the river.

Also, just a quick reminder to check out the Resources & Links page. I keep it fairly up to date with some other cool blogs and resources that you might find interesting. I just added some new online magazines to the list and I removed a couple of blogs that appear to no longer be around.

Thanks for reading. Let’s go crush another week!
