Easy, convenient foods for backcountry trips.
Harmony House Foods, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business in Western North Carolina, not far from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trail.
These guys have it down when it comes to dehydrated foods for backpacking, camping and backcountry trips. They offer a wide assortment of food options, and various sizes to fit most any situation.
I purchased several of their mixed veggies and soup/chili blends and they are pretty awesome. I don’t typically care for the prepackaged backpacking meals that are out there, as I prefer to make my own, and this is a great way to do it. These are a good option for creating quick, easy single-pot meals. I’ve been pleased with the different options I’ve tried so far, and I plan on using them more in the future.
Harmony House prices are relatively affordable, making them a good option for budget excursions if you want to get beyond the can of Spaghetti-O’s.
Check out Harmony House Foods and give them a try. I have been digging their stuff, and I think you will too.
