Notes: Inconsistency killed the cat

News and Notes from

Or, maybe it was curiosity, I don’t recall, but either way, it’s deadly.

Anyway, this post is about consistency, or lack thereof, on this blog. And it’s a post to say that I’m going to change my bad habits with consistency, and step it up around here. I’ve said it before, but I’ve never done it before, so there.

Throughout the years of this here blog–6 to be exact–I’ve muddled in various regular features and whatnot. Those are coming back. I miss them, and I miss what they brought to this blog.

So be on the lookout for some familiar stuff to make it’s way back into rotation around here. Notably, my Instagram fly ties of the week posts, and also my Fly Free Friday posts. I’m also going to sprinkle back in some Spotlight posts and some gear stuff. Those were always a hit with the Internet youngsters.

I figure it like this – if I’m going to keep writing on this blog, I may as well take the time to do it right. I should provide useful stuff around here. I should keep you wanting to come back to my neck of the woods to see what’s happening. And, I like to think of it as my way to keep connected to the fly fishing community.

Stay tuned, and as always, I sincerely appreciate those of you that have been supporting this blog over the years. It means a lot, and I hope you’ll continue to do it.
