First Look: Redington Rise Fly Reels

A look at some cool new fly fishing gear coming soon

Redington announces the Rise series of fly reels.

This looks like another solid performer from Redington, who also introduced the Zero and Behemoth reels recently as well. The Rise series is the latest offering. Here is some info via Redington:

The Rise reels are CNC-machined out of anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and have a U-shaped, ultra-large arbor design for quick line retrieve. The compact carbon fiber drag system offers smooth fish-stopping power and an oversized drag knob for quick adjustments.

With models sized from 3/4 to 9/10, the Rise is suited to perform in a variety of fishing conditions. Twin molded, soft-touch ergonomic handles offer comfort and the Rise easily converts from left or right hand retrieve. It is equipped with a nylon case and a lifetime warranty.

Available in silver, amber and black in August 2016 ranging in price from $189.95 to $219.95.
