The Spotlight: Postfly Box

The Spotlight - Cool fly fishing companies worth checking out

Postfly Box delivers fly fishing goods to your door each month.

There has been a rash of subscription based services hit the scene over the last several years pertaining to all sorts of things, notably men’s and women’s consumables, and even baby stuff.

A good idea doesn’t take long to make it’s way around to other hobbies and interests, and that is where Postfly Box comes in to fill the void for us fly fishing addicts.

What is it?

Postfly Box Monthly SubscriptionPostfly Box is a monthly subscription service that delivers a box of flys/goods to your door each month. The box you get is tailored to your type of fishing or species of choice, as well as the time of year.

Each box comes with a variation of flies and is mailed out on the 20th of each month. Shipping is always free and you can cancel any time. You can sign up for a monthly subscription and they also offer 3, 6 and 12 month subscriptions at a reduced rate.

Monthly boxes are available for Trout, Bass, Saltwater, and Steelhead, so surely you fit into one of those categories.

Why I like it

A monthly subscription service is a cool idea, mainly just to get a taste of what other’s are tying delivered to your door. If you don’t tie your own flies, I could see this service being especially useful for you.

I see it as a great way to try out different fly patterns that you might not tie on your own. This is also the perfect gift idea for a friend or family member that is also into fly fishing. It sure beats the hell out of another gift card.

How to get it

Head on over to Postfly Box and check out the service. You can sign up and give it a try, and cancel anytime.

While you’re there, check out their Supply and Dry Goods section for some other cool products and swag they offer. They’re also on Instagram and Twitter, so give them a follow if you’re into that kind of thing.
