Journal: Another vacation in the books

Another vacation to revive, recharge and relax is in the books.

Surfside Beach

I’ve spent the last 12 days on a serious vacation that much needed and much earned. Life has been pretty crazy the last few months and my lady and I decided to finally skip it all and head to the beach with the little one.

When you have a 2-year old, there really is no such thing as a vacation. In fact, “vacation” is usually more hectic than the normal routine, but it’s totally fun none-the-less.

We spent a few days at an awesome house in Surfside Beach (Myrtle Beach), and got to do some really cool stuff with the pixie. I got in a little pond fishing most every morning, but I’m pretty sure that pond was for decorative purposes only (and turtle procreation).

Anyway, it’s back to business as usual for us now. Look for some updated blog content coming up shortly and be on the lookout for some cool new fly tying content that I have planned.

I have not sat down at the vise in about 3 weeks, but that is changing here shortly. Stay tuned as I get out of vacation mode and get back into the swing.
