Presentation is probably the most important part of fly fishing you need to understand.
When I first started fly fishing, I didn’t pay much attention to my presentation. I was more concerned with the right fly or the right line and less concerned about what I was presenting to the fish.
I quickly learned how important it was, and once I focused on better presentation, I stepped up my game immediately.
Honestly, more times than not, the fly, or line, or rod makes no difference. Presentation, however, can make all of the difference in the world. It makes even more of a difference on small streams, where you’ll find trout that spook quite easily.
