The short hiatus

News and Notes from

On the road again.

You might have noticed that I haven’t blogged much, tweeted much or even fished much lately. On the other hand, you probably didn’t.

Life is crazy, work is crazy and I haven’t had time to do much of anything but work. Airports and hotels have been the norm for me for the last few weeks, along with convention centers and conference sessions.

As I’m writing this, I am about to pack for a week in San Francisco. Another week of new people, airports and my schedule getting totally thrown off. It’s cool, I mean it’s part of the game, but it gets real old sometimes.

On the fly fishing / fly tying front, it’s been pretty sparse for me. I’ve gotten some short stints in front of the vise here and there, but nothing even worth mentioning. Hopefully all of that can change soon.

After my SF trip, I’m good for a few months, so I expect to ramp the blog, fishing and fly tying back up in full force for a while. I’ve been keeping my eye on my favorite blogs and reading what I can, so thanks for keeping me entertained while out on the road. Hopefully, I can get back to providing some entertainment here on my own blog soon.

All for now. Check back shortly.
